Frequently Asked Questions

What kinds of models and talent does MORE represent?
MORE is a full-service agency so we're not limited to specific ages, ethnicities or types. Furthermore, we are developing specialty areas, which include hands, feet, smile and teeth, fitness, plus sizes, and older adults.

Does MORE charge a fee to review my pictures?
NO. Please be advised that ANY organization that charges a fee to consider you for representation is not a legitimate, professional model and talent management agency and may be a modeling school, convention or scouting organization.

Does MORE charge a fee to represent me?
NO. Professional model and talent management agencies earn a commission from their models' and talents' earnings. It is the agency's job to develop, manage, represent and attempt to secure work for its models and talent. It is not advisable to sign with an agency that charges you a fee to represent you.

How do I send MORE my pictures?
You may use the Submissions form in the "Contact Us" section of this site, or send your pictures as a JPEG file via e-mail to recruiting@moremodelsandtalent.com. You may also send pictures to us at MORE Models & Talent, Pantheon Building, 1108 Fort Street Mall, Honolulu, HI 96813.

What kinds of pictures should I send?
Please send at least one clear head shot and one clear body shot. Color photos are preferable; black and white is acceptable. Your head shot should show your entire face, and your body shot should show us your build and body type. We recommend that women should wear a two-piece swimsuit and men a form-fitting swimsuit or boxer shorts.

Do I need professional pictures taken?
If you have them, please feel free to send them; however, we prefer simple snapshots or Polaroids at first to give us an accurate idea of what you look like. That said, women should wear very light make-up (if any) in your pictures so we can see your natural skin tone.

Do I need to send a composite card or portfolio?
You don't need to have a composite card or portfolio yet. In order to market you properly, these are tools that we would like to work closely with you to put together. Of course, if you already have them, you may send us one copy of the comp card and laser copies of your photos.

What other information might MORE need?
Please include your basic measurements with your photos. The Submissions form in the "Contact Us" section of this site outlines the type of information we're looking for.

Will MORE return my pictures?
Of course, but please provide us with a self-addressed, postage-paid envelope, or call to arrange a pick-up.

What if I already have an agency?
If you are already represented by a professional model and talent management agency on the mainland US, internationally, or elsewhere off-island, you may want to first ask your agency to contact us on your behalf. It is customary for your "mother" agency to arrange your placement with agencies in other markets.

How will I know if MORE is interested in working with me?
MORE will contact you if we believe it's a good fit. That said, please remember to include all your necessary contact information, including your email address, phone number or address with your pictures. If we decide to pass, you will not hear back from MORE unless you have included the self-addressed, postage-paid envelope for us to return your pictures.

What if MORE decides not to represent me?
Please don't be discouraged. There are many reasons that agencies may pass on talent. It may already represent a number of people with your particular look. There might not be a specific demand for your look at that time. There are many agencies, and every agency is looking for something different. Try another agency, or try again at a different time.

I signed up weeks ago. Why haven't I been sent out on an audition?
Submissions are based on specific client needs. Your age, look or type may not be in demand at this time. Though some management companies may send their models regularly to "cattle calls," these rarely result in actual jobs, or if they do, the jobs are low-paying or low-quality. Reputable professional modeling and talent agencies will not submit individuals whose stats are inconsistent with a client's request. It's a waste of the talent's time as well as that of the client.
